Background and context
After the discovery of genetic material present in human cells, people were lot curious about its structure and its composition. The structure of DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) is complex and therefore a lot of hypotheses were laid to deduce the DNA structure and composition. Chargaff rule is one of the most accepted theories for finding the composition of nucleotides in the DNA.
