Biomes can be classified into aquatic biome and terrestrial biomes. The aquatic biome is a water-based biome that includes freshwater and a marine biome. The terrestrial biomes are land-based, including savannas, deserts, tropical rainforests, temperate forests, boreal forests, and tundras.
