Background and context

The scientific method term was first documented by Sir Francis Bacon. This can be defined as questioning any process and seeking responses that are scientifically based. The scientific method involves possible explanations for a situation. The hypothesis can be defined as any explanation that can be suggested for a particular event or situation. The only condition that a hypothesis needs to satisfy that is has to be testable that is anyone can test it. For a particular situation, several hypotheses can be proposed. For testing the hypothesis, a person can carry out experiments.
