The concept of isomerism occurs when two or more compounds have the same molecular formula but distinct chemical structures. Isomers are chemical compounds with similar chemical formulas but differ in characteristics and atom configuration in the molecule. Enantiomers are the chemical compounds that are found as chiral molecules and mirror images of one another. These molecules are found non-superimposable on each other.
