Question

In the fruit fly Drosophila, a rudimentary wing called “vestigial” and dark body color called “ebony” are inherited at independently assorting genes and are recessive to their dominant wild-type counterparts, full wings and gray body color. Wild-type males and females heterozygous for both traits are crossed, and 3200 progeny are produced.
