Unfreezing: the recognition that some current state of affairs is unsatisfactory. Ex we are doing this too much, we have to stop this. Note: this unfreezing happens even when ppl percieve threat too! Usually started via crisis ex lawsuit, drop in sales etc. Change: the implementation of a program to move it to the satisfactory state. Refreezing: the condition that exists when newly developed behaviours become an enduring part of the organization. When the changes become permanent u can see thier effect. Some comp are always morphing rather than freeze, unfreeze. Organizational learning: process through which an organization acquires, develops, transfers knowledge.
