Evolutionary predictions from the six tenets are then made: william paley: looked as organisms as a master mechanic, made by god, with every piece in the machine perfect for its job, the origin of species: 1859. Theory: life is product of evolution which is driven by natural selection. Six tenants of darwinism: evolution: species undergoes genetic variation over time. Not all species need to evolve: gradualism: takes many generations for evolutionary change. Species don"t evolve at the same rate.
