In malcolmson and myers, they said that canada has elected three minority parliaments since: they also say that in these circumstance, parliament plays a more important role because they cannot simply make rules as they please. This may seem the most democratic way and likely, it seems to be the most in line with the british system of the parliament being a place to talk and have a voice. It was revealed this week that the ethics commissioner advised prime minister trudeau put his money into a blind trust in an attempt to prevent policy changes which would benefit his monetary status and any conflicts of interest. It was an attempt to remove any financial incentive from his decision making. In my opinion, this is a good idea and trudeau followed the advice. However, it has recently been revealed that the ethics commissioner did not hold the financial minister to the same standards.
