Open communication: sharing all types of info throughout org, across functional and hierarchical boundaries: employees need to know what"s going on with company: open communication helps people understand, accept, and commit to goals, good managers want communication to flow in all directions: you can build an open communication climate by breaking down hierarchical and departmental boundaries that may be barriers to communication.
