Background and context

Plant nutrition is interesting since plants only need inorganic nutrients to generate all of the organic compounds used to make up their bodies. Obviously, they need oxygen molecules, hydrogen atoms, and carbon which they may receive from water as well as carbon dioxide, but along with these, they must take some other mineral components or elements, which are found in the environment. Nitrogen is one of the most crucial elements for plants among these other kinds of elements.
