Question 1: Have you ever observed that different babies have different moods and personalities? In this video you will learn about three different types of temperaments in infants, each of which is biologically based: the easy baby, the difficult baby, and the slow to warm up baby. You will see several examples of caregivers and their young ones and learn about the characteristics of babies in each category. Listen for an important message at the end of the video that underscores the positive effect of good parenting for babies of all temperaments.

Explain how the three different types of temperaments described in the video can affect parenting styles and decisions. What is one thing the parents of an easy baby need to bear in mind?
