For your Advanced Evolution class, you need to design an experiment that will test for group selection. You have a greenhouse with 900 Arabidopsis thaliana plants and a fat wallet to pay for your experiment. Describe the experiment you would conduct, making sure to explain i) what trait you would select for, ii) how you would do the selection, and iii) what you would expect the results to look like if you found evidence of group selection. But don’t select on population size, that’s already been done!
