As I understand it the mechanism of death when a mammal iselectrocuted is that the current disrupts the SAN/AVN in the heartcausing it to fibrilate or arrest. That's on a macro scale, however. What damage, if any, does electricity cause on a cellularlevel? I've noticed some sort of moss or lichen growing on thethird rail of the train lines so I'm aware that they must be ableto cope with the current, do they have adaptations ot allow this oris it just that they are not connected to the earth?
