Stephanie, five years old, has been referred to a registered dietitian because her pediatrician is concerned about her weight gain. Currently she is 54# and 46â. Questions: 1. What are Stephanieâs current BMI and BMI-for-age percentile? How is her weight classified based on the recommendations? -I got her BMI as 17.9 and her percentile is in the 85th percent which makes her at risk of being overwieght I'm confused by this though because of her bmi being in the underweight range.
