The number of flowers a lily has is controlled by a dominant allele for two flowers (T) or one flower (t). A gene on a separate chromosome controls height with an allele for short height (S) that is dominant to tall (s). If you had a population of 1000 lilies that was in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium and you observed that 64% of the population had one flower and 25% of the population was tall, how many plants would you predict would be heterozygous at both loci? How many will be tall with one flower?
