These plates were the control plates. The plates were incubated for 2 days. On the next day, eri-wild-type were picked (L4 hermaphrodites or young adults) onto each RNAi feeding plate. Plates were obtained to reference mutant ( unc-22 ) to compare the results to the RNAi experiment, and helped access how closley the treated worms phenocopy of the acutal mutants. Then they were placed in a 22 incubator to develop and lay eggs. Th plates were checked and adult hemaphrodies were removed to the RNAi feeding paltes and the 0P500 plates and placed in the incubator. The treated worm phenotype were compared to the mutants.
