What specific kinds of changes have been made and still need to be made in order to achieve sustainability in our forests, in other words, balancing timber harvest with wildlife habitat/ecosystem services (sustaining a clean water supply, biodiversity, etc.)? Be specific and be sure to explain how/why these changes will help achieve sustainability relative to the unsustainable “status quo” of the past and present.
