Can someone edit any grammar issues or edit any sentence structure to make my ideas flow better. It is a short paragraph (biology) about the theories of why scrotum are placed externally (interesting article)

The idea of the scrotum being placed externally seems odd at first because the human body usually protects its organs such as the ribcage surrounding the heart or the skull surrounding the brain. On the other hand, female ovaries do not emerge outside of the body, preventing them reproductive disadvantage, so why is it different for testicles? Before reading this article, my hypothesis at first would majority be that it just served as a reproductive organ. Also I suppose it would make more sense to have them inside the body for protection and just make them cope with the extra heat, but evolution isn’t able to plan ahead in this way. According to Drew, he states that the reason behind external testicles because the temperature of the testicles must be lower than the rest of the body temperature for optimal sperm production and storage. I do agree that this justification because it turns out that human testicles display some rather elaborate yet subtle temperature-regulating features that have gone largely unnoticed by doctors, researchers and laymen alike. According to Gallup, he advanced the hypothesis that descended scrotal testicles in humans and many other mammals evolved to provide a situation specific means of activating sperm. As a result of consistent temperature differences between the male and female reproductive tracts, we propose that the rise to body temperature that accompanies insemination into the vagina serves as one of several triggers for the activation of sperm (2009). This makes sense in way because internal body temperature would cause sperms to die and with having cooler temperature, this aids reproduction process.
