Bioterrorism has been a tactic used since the beginning of history. It is the act of creating violence and fear amongst innocent people as a means to achieve a religious or political gain. Bioterrorism is the intentional release of biological agents such as bacteria, fungi, toxins, or viruses to cause death or fear; and they are typically created and modified by humans. Terrorists use these biological weapons because their tactic is less likely to cause fear among targets, since their weapon can not be physically seen, nor can it be touched.
