After watching the first part of the movie, my perceptions and thought changed from the first time i saw the contact to when the tribe had relocated and was wearing clothing. At first, the situation seemed like it could be possibly dangerous for all involved because neither group knew the intention of the other group. Hearing the words that they were speaking and watching them express how they were afraid for their lives made me hopeful that they would indeed be able to find help from the outsiders. What struck me most was the bluntness with which they talked about the difficulties they encountered in their day to day life, such as when he talked about how his grandmother was eaten by a wild animal. Furthermore, seeing the change in the people as they received things from the modern world was intriguing to me. Several of them were fascinated with the clothing and shoes and other items they were given.
