Two things are important for knowledge- we need intuition and concepts. Intuition relates perceptual experience and your particular place in it: concepts- the general categories that we need to understand things, we need know previous things from experience. Philosophic movement of 18th century this time was known as the age of reason. There was also an outpour of human language. We are not living in an enlightened age but in an age of enlightenment.
