Turned out he was innocent, running to catch another train. What shocked english people most was that he had been killed from shoot-to-kill orders from police chief. Shoot-to-kill laws authorized english police to shoot anyone they suspect could be planting a suicide bomb. If profiling is indeed routing, we don"t know for sure the traffickers are disproportionately black. If the police are racist we don"t know for sure the black person is the drug traffickers. We might catch more black people if we rp, but that doesn"t mean that they are the majority. Over 50% of black students stopped on 2+ occasions. 34% black stopped and searched, 17% white, 8% asian. 34% were found to be black and never done anything bad. If majority of drug dealers are black, the police don"t have to be racist, they just have to be efficient. Could over rep of blacks in crime statistics be due to profiling: profiling occurs in subtle ways.
