Systemic blood returns to the heat via the superior and inferior vena cavae. They will both drain blood into the right atrium. That blood will pass through a valve into the right ventricle, will leave the right ventricule through the pulmonary valve into the pulmonary artery. The pulmonary artery is the only one that has deoxygenated blood.
