Big variation in temperature: little variation around the equator hot all year round, northern hemisphere vary more in temperature than the southern hemisphere! Lower thermal inertia between water and dry land in the north! Much more land in the north (contains canada, siberia)! More water body in the south, harder to change its temperature!
