You don"t have to follow intro-body-conc structure; you can start from the middle, and you can end it without a conclusion. Try to give every member of your editing group a copy of your writing; to make it easier for them to follow along and edit. Share the writing"s strength first then tell them the things they need to change/delete. Try to add more details so that the reader will be able to visualize the story better. Put some creativity into your story, doesn"t have to be 100% real = to keep the reader"s interest. Change the order of events of the story if needed. Without strong verbs, we can"t express ourselves good. It simplifies the sentences; instead of describing the action in multiple of words, use strong verbs. Subject + verb + object = one of the simplest sentences. Verb: action words= ran instead of was running= economy. Remove all non svo in a sentence.
