Document Summary

Sep. 21 & 24 - tcr, tc development + mhc. Isolate one cd and inject into an animal and generate ab by that. Dendritic cell: master for apc, they travel from site of infection into lymph node + presentation occurred. Effector t cell: those who travel back to the site of infection and eliminate infection (develop memory) Intend for classification of many monoclonal ab (mabs) To identify either the identifying/ developmental stage based on cells that are produced on the surface. Cd3: goes intracellular, activate cytotoxic tc and th cell. Ch4 & 8: they are on surface of cell - that bind to tcr and see ag presented by mhc. Cd4 helper cell: ag is taken up by apc and protein is broken down into polypeptide. Get signal from apc + activated by cytokine & costimulation. What does cytokine do: produced by activated tc, also is signal for cellular immunity.
