Primary psycho-biological action = marked alternations in cortical functioning affecting: Creates a hightened awarness of sensory input and often an enhanced sense of clarity and diminished control over expierience. They will mimic the analgesic actions of endorphins (released when tired) and inhibit the release of ain inducing transmitters. They excite and stimulate the central nervous system. Medical marijuana: cannabinoid receptors are located in the areas of the brain that deal with pain perception. Distortions in concept of time, sound, colour, taste, concentration and euphoria. Create a sense of calm, drowsiness and well being. Mixing drugs: alcohol and any other drug, speed ball.
