Busi 2121: groups, teams, ethics, & decision making. A group is 2 or more people with a common relationship. Is everyone involved in decision making vs. is one person making the decision. Groups can become teams and teams can become groups but they are not on the same continuum. Problem-solving teams meet for few hours different ppl with complimentary skillsets. What is a problem solving team example? e. g. lean car manufacturing car was on assembly line while ppl stood still. Toyota came along and put the car in one place and a team came along and worked on the car together from the front of the car to the back of the car. e. g. subway food court. Use lean procedure is used to create more efficiently. Must be addressed by a team in subway. All about the idea, that people have different roles in there life. I could be a son at home, but i am a student at school.
