It is no secret that writing can really grind the gears, sometimes. It is impulsive yet controlled-- abrupt yet calculated. Some are fortunate enough where the act of writing comes naturally; on the other hand, there are also those who find the written word to be quite a challenge. For me, i am somewhere in the middle. Although writing has proven difficult at times, for that very reason i cherish it. It pushes me to my limit and allows me to express myself in another form. As a future educator, i strive to instill a similar mindset into my students. Being an only child can be pretty dull sometimes; for a little girl whose mom brought her to work with her every day, it was torture. One day, as all youth typically do, i decided to draw. Over time, this drawing morphed into several drawings. Then, several drawings morphed into something that could have resembled a story.
