Our genomes are full of “junk DNA” that does not encode genes. This DNA can vary greatly from person to person in both length and sequence.
Jane is a technician in a DNA evidence lab. She needs to compare the “junk DNA” from the site of a crime and a suspect. This is obviously an important job and she needs to do it correctly. Jane needs help setting up her experiment. She is already setting up a PCR with the DNA from the crime and DNA from the suspect, but she feels like she is missing something. If cysticercosis is mainly the cause of eggs of T. solium from human feces, can't the pig's feces transmit it as well?

The medical literature usually mentions infection from human feces from HUMANS who actually have the tapeworm in them. But if someone was cleaning after pigs' fecal matter and they ingested parts of the pig's feces, can't they also get the T. solium cysticercosis (not taenasis)?
