Background and context

The process of meiosis-II occurs after the cell has undergone the stages of meiosis-I. There are no great differences between meiosis-I and mitotic division. The meiosis-II is much simpler than meiosis-I. The conversion of diploid cells into haploid cells is done in the meiosis-I stage and later the meiosis-II stage just divides the haploid cells and form four daughter cells.
