Background and context

Measles is also known by the name of “morbilli”. It is an airborne viral infection caused by the Measles virus in which respiratory, immune system, and skin is affected. Glycoproteins assist the virus to attach to the host cell. All viruses attach to the particular receptor sites in the host cell through glycoprotein present in an envelope and other attaching protein in capsids.
