Given a biconvex spherical lens and using only the thin lensequations, what is the
fundamental limit for the minimum f/# of the lens? Your answershould be only in terms
of the index of refraction, n, of the lens material. What is theminimum f/# if the index of refraction is taken to be 1.5?
