Below, you will construct a realistic intervention study, using human volunteers, to answer a nutrition related question of your choice. Be sure to include as much detail as possible.

1) Even though most drugs are synthetically produced, they are linked to natural products. Coumadin (warfarin) is just such an example. The name of the chemical, warfarin, is an abbreviation. 2) Recombinant DNA technology has revolutionized the world of medicine and food production, but most people have little understanding of what it means to perform "genetic modifications". Describe, in basic details, the process of producing a medicine with recombinant DNA technology.

3) The glycoprotein antagonists are fascinating chemicals. There are three of them and all three of them essentially do the same thing (they bind to platelets and prevent them from sticking together) but they do so in completely different ways. Pick at least one and describe its mechanism of action in inhibiting platelet aggregation.
