They were a persecuted religious group, minority, and got harassed. They believe that protestant reformation is in incomplete. They want to purify the church in england. They believe that people lack the belief of religion. They believe that if they don"t have a purified church or society, then the people will suffer in. Most puritans believe that the one way to solve this issue is to clean within radically. Meaning you have to separate the society within due to the corruption. Known as separatist, a radical group within the puritans, establish a new society.
