More important for women to find mentor than it is for men. Women need to learn how to balance work and family life whereas men only need to focus on establishing themselves in work. Assumption is that identity work leads to maturity and maturity is necessary to take on adult roles and responsibilities. What is maturity robert white four clear indicators of maturity: Stabilizing of identity less experimentation; greater sense of calm, comfort, and directedness less anxiety about the anxiety triangle (career, lifestyle, and values)
