Find mentors- put to much pressure on people for formal interaction relationship with other people who have had experience- people with guidance, perspective- people in your age range. 20% of people 10 years after college graduation work in the field they major in. Assumption is that identity work leads to maturity and maturity is necessary to take on adult roles and responsibilities. Need to be foundation of maturity to take on the adult roles+ responsibilities. Stabilizing of identity- a maturity person has the identity triangle: career, lifestyle, and values- not confused a stable view.
