Loosen used bottom linens and fan-fold toward patient, tuck edges under back, buttocks, shoulders. Apply clean linens (bottom sheet, draw sheet, waterproof pad) to exposed half of bed. Assist patient to roll over linens toward you. Remove soiled linens and place in laundry bag. Slide clean linen from under patient toward you. Pull fitted sheet over corners of mattress or miter corners and tuck in flat sheet and draw sheet. Make a cuff by turning top sheet down over blanket. Tuck in top sheet and blanket, making a toe pleat.
