There must be reasonable expectation that studies involving animals will: Result in benefits to the health of humans and other animals. Study: how emotions and thoughts influence behaviour. Albert exposed to white rat = no response. White rat + loud noise = baby (albert) started crying - Stuttering was a learned behaviour attributable to their parents criticism towards them. Went to an orphanage, paid his graduate students to break the kids by yelling at them (different levels of yelling) Kids felt like they were tormented by monsters ( monster study ) - Study: reaction to medication and if it helped or not.
