Image is the mental impression or perception of an object or concept-such as a politician, political party or public policy. Images are subjective in nature due to the varying ways in which target audiences receive, absorb, process and evoke political communication. The public images of political actors are actually imaginary constructs that are shaped by information and visuals that are controlled and filtered by political parties, public relations personnel, pundits, media and others. Image is not just the image but there"s a lot of information that can be taken from them. Use of words, word selection, convey things simply for people to get. An example would be justin trudeau king of selfie, image management technique. Stephen harper was opposite he had space from people. Clothing: they have to make sure candidate, pm, president wearing appropriate clothing for the situation. Color, by design (tie-red, blue) they are all dressed up the same according the preferences.
