Document Summary

Episodic story/frame will treat things as if they"re an individual event (no context or general perspective) E. g. who was involved, what the method of killing was, what the neighbours heard/think. Thematic story/ frame will provide some sort of broader context and try to link to something more general. E. g. will give the details as well but give more (patterns of murders in the city, number of times it has happened in the city, what the police will do to fix the problem) Both will get you thinking, but in different ways. Increasingly rare for a frame to be dominant, and doesn"t last long. Frame dominance e. g. war on terror in the us post 9/11. Frame strength- a frame that will influence your beliefs, attitudes or behaviour on a topic. Accessibility - when you"re exposed to an issue, the frame has to come to mind.
