Placebo: simulation of therapy, can relieve several types of complaints (i. e. headaches, stomach pains); changing how we perceive ourselves and complaints. Placebo effect: way of describing, quantifying and understanding everything that surrounds those pills, the interaction between the patient and the provider; its in the environment in which the placebo is given positive effect. Empathy, emotional support, and interaction that goes on between patient and provider that is critical in giving health care clinical interaction can influence how patient feels. Nocebo effect: negative consequences of taking a placebo (i. e. a sugar pill)
