Good delivery can turn mediocre speeches to be more effective than it seems. Something to say + how you say it makes the speech better. Delivery is a matter of nonverbal communication. Preferred delivery: combine formality and good conversation attributes. Speech delivery is an art, not a science. There is no substitute for experience with speech delivery. When comfortable with the top 3 things, then you can improve delivery and add different ways to deliver to enhance impact of words through. Required when speech needs to be conveyed exactly in one way. Can be hard to read and say it conversationally. Good speakers make reading manuscripts seem like conversation. Practice aloud to see how you can improve the delivery. Reach to audience with same directness and sincerity that you would if you spoke extemporaneously.
