Interpersonal con ict - exists when there is expressed tension between people who are interdependent, perceive they have incompatible goals, and feel a need to resolve those differences! Interpersonal con ict is expressed disagreement, struggle, or discord ! It is not con ict is we don"t recognize disagreement or anger or if we express it so completely that it is not expressed directly or indirectly! Con ict exists only if disagreements or tensions are expressed! Nonverbal - shooting daggers with your eyes! Interpersonal con ict can occur between people who perceive themselves as interdependent at the same time of the con ict ! Interdependent if each person wants to change the other"s mind ! This cannot happen without the other"s cooperation ! Ghting can be a sign that people care about each other ! We experience con ict when we perceive that what we want is incompatible with what is wanted by another person with whom we are interdependent !
