What used to be referred to as mass media then traditional media and most recently legacy media, now include social media, so we are using the term public media! New word for all the stuff that is traditional newspaper, magazine, tv but now we have social media, blogs, email etc. we refer all of this to public media ! To coincide with public media experience, this chapter embraces news and information as well as advertising and incorporates experiences for both in social media! There is so much space for content now because every news outlet has a webpage, twitter, facebook etc. there is more room for content, more places the more chances is till get a pick up/ hit !
