Three parts of the limbic system- amygdala, hippocampus, and hypothalamus controls emotions: amygdala deep in the brain, shape and size of an almond registers positive and negative emotion. Increased amygdala activity in children is one reason for nightmares, or sudden night terrors. It is the thought of whatever it appears to be it is. A child assumes that the visible appearance of someone or something is also their essence: static reasoning, they believe the world is stable, unchanging and always in the state in which they currently encounter it. Nothing changes, that whatever is now has always been and always will be. Irreversibility fail to recognize that reversing process sometimes restores whatever existed before.
