It is the study of how people receive, process, and store information. Compare the goals, methods, and beliefs associated with structuralism, gestalt psychology, psychoanalysis, functionalism, and behaviorism. Structuralism: edward titchener (student of wundt) is the father of structuralism. Interested in the building blocks of consciousness via introspection.
