Deviance is a way to show what"s different for functionalism . Strength of weak ties weak ties have strength because they can allow people who wouldn"t normally interact to receive the same information. Social capital- information, connections and skills that help individuals enter or gain power in networks. Or they way individuals get things out of their social network. Ex: a neighborhood watch, rely on each other 2 watch each other. Deviance- (deviance and conformity are looked at together)
