Looking at a problem in the book and then looking up the answer in the study guide before really attempting the problem is not an efficient way to learn organic chemistry (or most any other field). If you don"t know how to do a problem, go to the book and your notes to identify what you don"t know so that you can do the problem, then you will have learned that material.
