Sociocultural: social- study of groups, relationships, etc, cultural- values and norms or standards of behavior. Biopsychosocial mental processes explained by biological, social, and psychological factors. Evolutionary- grew from functionalism, human behavior is adaptations that help people function and survive. Psychologist- clinical (largest field), counselling, school (40%), etc. Objective introspection (wundt) -> structuralism (titchener) -> functionalism (james) -> gestalt (wertheimer) -> functionalism (influenced by charles darwin)
